Santana's Lounge is San Antonio's first Puerto Rican lounge — a promise between two friends from Santurce who made Texas home: to build a room where a Sunday lunch with your abuela and a Saturday night with your closest people could share the same table.
By afternoon, it's a slow, sunlit kitchen — plantain, sofrito, and rum aged in island oak. By midnight, the same walls trade candles for laser haze, and the bar becomes a stage for the rhythm of the island and the swagger of South Beach — right here on the River Walk.
